The largest training event in the form of a competition held to develop and demonstrate the service excellence of the frontline people in UD dealerships and workshops around the world.

UD Gemba Challenge

The UD Gemba Challenge was launched in 2014 to inspire continuous learning, strengthen technical expertise and recognize the outstanding capabilities of UD Trucks service professionals worldwide. Inspired by the Gemba Spirit – the belief that the excellence is achieved where value is created – the competition encourages participants to challenge themselves, share knowledge and continuously improve.

About the competition

The UD Gemba Challenge bring together service personnel from across the global UD Trucks network.
Participants compete in a series of practical and knowledge-based challenges that test technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork. The best-performing teams advance to the Global Final, which will be held in Ageo in Japan, the headquarters of UD Trucks.
